Fun camp site park hosts are friendly
Good camping area
Went by there to check it out last week of august creek was low still enough water to swim,camp host very nice and informitive,park and everything neat and clean. Would go there for weekend getaway .8/24/16.
Its always very beautiful down here. Especially. With my girl and her family.. If I had any complaints it would because there is only two shower rooms for the whole camp
Spavinaw state park has some really cool things. Large shade trees, running creek with fishing, not to big or crowded (except for major holidays). Not much highway traffic but that also means that you do have to travel a few miles to get supplies. The biggest con is that the bathrooms leave much to be desired. Overall I loved my stay.
